Coast were engaged to work with the Gujaga Foundation to develop content for the Kamay (Botany Bay) section of a major exhibition to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the Endeavour in Australia. The project involved working with Aboriginal community members to research the actions of Cook and his crew across their eight day stay in Kamay, allowing them to consider this from a cultural perspective, and to research some of the ancestors who lived in the generations after the Endeavour left and consider its legacy. Coast also supplied research materials to develop interactive maps and other content for the exhibition.

Our office is located on the lands of the Gadigal in the inner Sydney suburb of Alexandria, who have sung and spoken this land for countless generations. We acknowledge the Gadigal and honour this tradition by working respectfully with Aboriginal people to share their histories.

Aboriginal people should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have died.
