Coast Director Paul Irish provided research support to Aboriginal curator Emily McDaniel, to develop stories around the Harbour Walk component of the City of Sydney’s Yananurala project. This involved researching particular places and stories along the foreshore between Darling Harbour and Woolloomooloo, and providing a summary in maps and images to show how each section of the walk had changed over the past two centuries.

Our office is located on the lands of the Gadigal in the inner Sydney suburb of Alexandria, who have sung and spoken this land for countless generations. We acknowledge the Gadigal and honour this tradition by working respectfully with Aboriginal people to share their histories.

Aboriginal people should be aware that this website may contain images or names of people who have died.
